Marketing has started for the 20-unit residential condominium building at 124 West 24th Street in Chelsea.

The property was recently acquired by Grasso Holdings, which is affiliated with the Metro Development Company of Philadelphia, from Harold Milgrim for about $15 million and is undergoing a $25 million renovation and conversion.

According to Jon Phillips of Halstead Property Development Marketing, the 6-story, mid-block building will have one-bedroom loft residences ranging in size from about 1,091 to 1,390 square feet with prices starting at about $996,500.

The apartments have ceilings higher than 10 feet, two bathrooms, handmade, tilt-n-turn, double-glazed windows from Prague with honey teak finish, Asko stacked washer/dryers, Azul Lagos limestone kitchen counters, glossy white kitchen cabinets, Cementi silver compound with stainless steel frame for the kitchen island, LG refrigerators and microwaves, Miele cooktops, Bosch dishwashers. Master bathrooms will have Toto toilets and six-foot Kohler baths.

In addition, the building will have four penthouse units with fireplaces and private rooftop cabanas.

The late 19th Century building, which has a roof deck, is located between The Avenue of the Americas and Seventh Avenue.

The building is pet friendly and offers 90 percent financing.

Other Grasso Holdings projects in New York include 50 Pine Street and 245 Tenth Avenue.
