Sales have launched at 661 Driggs Avenue, a new Williamsburg boutique condominium with one two-bedroom and one three-bedroom unit on each of its four floors. Two-bedrooms start at $1.9 million and three-bedrooms start at $2.35 million. The first availabilities also include a duplex penthouse with double-height ceilings and a private roof terrace; this is available for $2.7 million. Monthly common charges on the three available units hover around $500/month.
Plans for 661 Driggs Avenue date back to 2015, when an entity dubbed Brooklyn Rose LLC bought the former office of Puccio Marble & Onyx from the Puccio family for $2.8 million. New building permits were filed in June 2016, and demolition permits for the old office were filed shortly after in January 2017. The first renderings were unveiled in February 2020, shortly before New York went on pandemic-induced lockdown; the finished product by Bogue Trondowski Architect has a brick facade and a more modern and streamlined appearance than the original design.

While not the most amenity-rich new building to take shape, 661 Driggs Avenue’s Williamsburg address is its greatest perk. The building is equidistant to the beloved McCarren Park and the exciting new Domino Park, where the former refinery building has been transformed into a new office and new residential development has taken shape along the waterfront. It is also down the street from Williamsburg Cinemas and one block from Bedford Avenue dining and nightlife. The neighborhood welcomed Chanel’s Lucky Chance diner pop-up at 225 Wythe Avenue during Fashion Week; the rest of the year, it enjoys a robust retail scene. 661 Driggs Avenue is around the corner from Williamsburg’s Whole Foods and Apple outposts.
Only two units per floor allow for optimal privacy. Each apartment comes with private outdoor space, and all interiors feature:
- Loft-like Great Rooms with high ceilings, oversized windows, and wide-plank oak flooring
- Chef’s kitchens with honed Arabescato Corchia marble countertops and islands, soft white modern flat-paneled cabinetry, large dining and prep islands, Cle’ tile backsplash, and a suite of Bosch professional appliances
- Generous closet space in all bedrooms
- Spa-like baths with oversized ceramic slabs, custom oak vanities, and modern Grohe showerheads, faucets, and tub fillers
- Modern must-haves like central air conditioning and in-unit washer/dryers
