The first condo residences of Bloom on Forty Fifth
hit the market in spring 2021 and now the building is open for immediate occupancy. The full-service luxury development is sited at 500 West 45th Street in Hell's Kitchen, along a now-vibrant section of Tenth Avenue. Prices start at $778K for studios, $1.482M for one-beds and $1.696M for two-beds.. Current availabilities come to an average price of $1,756 per square foot, markedly below the Midtown West average asking condo price of $1,906 per square foot (per CityRealty data).
The human-scaled, seven-story building began construction in late 2017
and was brought to life by Xin Development International with Kuafu Properties as the development manager. Xin Development was behind the Oosten
condos in Williamsburg and acquired this full block-front property for $57.5 million in late 2015. It previously held a Hess Express gas station, one of the last of its kind on the island. The new building's design by Marvel Architects sports a fresh contemporary façade and light palette, which is unusual for the bricky area.
