CityRealty stopped by the construction site of 308 North 7th Street, a nine-story, 45-unit building currently on the rise in Williamsburg. Construction photos reveal that the structure, developed by Adam America, is close to getting topped out. The initial design was (thankfully) reworked by Issac & Stern and as usual, their approach is a bit muted, but a handsome addition to the development-heavy neighborhood. The light brick facade features cascading terraces and two top floors with exposed columns and floor-to-ceiling casement windows.
Updated permits call for 53,141 square feet of residential space, meaning each apartment will average a condo-sized 1,180 square feet. The building will offer 23 parking spaces, a bike room, lounge, fitness center and several roof terraces.
Issac & Stern have been busy in Brooklyn; the firm is also designing upcoming projects at 186 21st Street, 848 Lorimer Street, and 609 Fourth Avenue.
