When Vitre (302 East 96th Street) was announced, the 21-story building developed by Wonder Works Construction in partnership with Fimida Enterprises and Mink Development was heralded as part of a Yorkville renaissance that the long-awaited Second Avenue subway would bring. Today, the 96th Street subway stop is open and construction on the nearby, 21-story building designed by Karl Fischer has topped out. Occupancy is expected to begin next fall.
Sales of the 48 units launched in June with one-bedrooms starting at $955K and two-bedrooms at $1.995 million; a three-bedroom penthouse is also on the market for $4.29 million. In all units, kitchens will have white Carrara marble, custom cabinetry, and high-end appliances. Bedrooms will have floor-to-ceiling windows and built-in wardrobes. Select units will have private outdoor space.

Vitre welcomes pets and boasts a series of ultra-luxe amenities. Concierge by Alfred provides exclusively tailored, white-glove service. A roof terrace and second-floor lounge with an adjoining sun deck will offer stunning East River and New York skyline views. Private parking spaces in an on-site garage are available for purchase.
The Second Avenue subway stop is not the only attraction near Vitre. Families will appreciate its close proximity to top schools and playgrounds. It is also a short walk from popular neighborhood restaurants, bars, fitness, and services.
