The area around City Hall Park is going gangbusters with new development. As we summed up earlier this year, upcoming projects include the Woolworth Tower Residences, One Beekman, and 49 Chambers. Yesterday, a press release officially unveiled 25 Park Row, the park's largest condominium offering announced to date. The still-rising tower will top out at 50 floors, nearly 700 feet tall and present all its 110 residences with beautiful park, city, and/or river views.

A pair of new renderings created by DBOX give us a better look at the building's COOKFOX Architects design. Its staggered massing and distinctive top bare a touch of Art Deco flair and balconies and terraces are tastefully integrated throughout. The first interior rendering showcases the project's hallmark view over the park towards the Woolworth Building. According to the floor schedule, the crowning apartment will be a duplex comprising the entire 45th and 46th floors.
The building is being developed by L+M Development Partners Inc. in collaboration with the family behind J&R Music World. The sprawling electronic emporium occupied the site until 2016. Sales are expected to begin this fall on one- to five bedroom homes that will be priced from $1,657,000. Announced amenities include a 65’ sunlit swimming pool, landscaped dining terrace, outdoor lawn and play area, and on-site parking.
In the mid-1800s, the stretch of Park Row the building occupies was one of the coveted locations for the media due to its proximity to City Hall. Known as Newspaper of Printing House Row, the area was home to the printing plants and newsrooms of the Times, Tribune, and World newspapers who each erected their own iconic towers that were once the tallest on earth.
