Sterling Town Equities is building an 8-unit residential building at 529 Park Place, along the Crown Heights - Prospect Heights border. Digging has begun at the site and a rendering of the building-to-be has been posted on the construction fence. Permits were filed way back in August of 2014, and since then, a new rental building at 533 Park Place has opened next door.
The new building will likely be condos and its 8 apartments will be distributed across 8,800 square feet of residential floor space. There will be no more than two apartments per floor and there will be a roof deck and basement storage.
The high-volume office of Issac and Stern are the designers and the rendering shows a comfortable design of red brick, flower boxes, and modern accents. Sterling Town Equities other Brooklyn projects include the condos at 265 First Street and 180 Concord Street, both designed by Issac and Stern.
