At 316-318 East 81st Street on the Upper East Side, a pair of brownstones is giving way to a 6-story, 6-unit residential condo developed by CGI Strategies in Real Estate (CGI). Led by Gidi Cohen and Adrian Goldstein, CGI acquired the properties in 2016 for $9.25 million according to city records. The site is located on a tree-line block between First and Second Avenues. The building will convenient to the 86th Street Second Avenue Subway station which has an entrance on Second Avenue and 83rd Street
The new development is being designed by Issac & Stern Architects with Andres Escobar handling the interiors. There will be six full-floor condos with private outdoor spaces. TOWN Residential will be handling the sales and marketing of the homes and the official launch date is pegged in the fourth quarter of 2017.
