The New York attorney general has only just accepted a $227 million offering plan for GALERIE (22-18 Jackson Avenue), but excitement over the condominium rising on the former site of a taxi garage is already mounting in the New York area and abroad. A website in China was the first to roll out the a few renderings and now, an official site has been launched for GALERIE, revealing its luxe amenities and beautiful Paris Forino-designed interiors set against the culturally rich Long Island City neighborhood, which enjoys easy access to Manhattan.
According to the site, there are 19 available residences with an impressive range of layouts including everything from alcove studios and one-bedrooms with home offices to nearly 1,500-square-feet three-bedroom units. Pricing starts at $665K for a studio and go up to $1.875M for a three-bedroom.
The filing for GALERIE was the most valuable in Queens in 2017 and puts the 175 apartments at an average price of $1.3 million, exactly at CityRealty’s median price for Long Island City condos.
