Three of the seven units in the Tadao Ando-designed condo at 152 Elizabeth Street have closed in the past couple of months, ranging in price from $5.5 million to $14.65 million, with an average price/ft2 of $3,298. The price/ft2 is well above the neighborhood average, which is $2,123 so far this year, according to data from CityRealty.
The concrete-and-glass boutique condo in NoLiTa is the first building the Pritzker Prize-winning Ando has designed outside of Asia, and its form exemplifies Ando’s minimalist aesthetic.

The priciest unit in the building, the penthouse, was listed for $35 million and has four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and three private terraces, including one on the roof with a fireplace, kitchen, and a reflecting pool. It went into contract in November but has not yet closed; the buyer is reportedly Matt Cohler, an early Facebook employee.
