For the week of December 9, 2018, there were a total of 195 condo and co-op closings recorded in Manhattan totaling to $441,239,974. The 91 recorded condo sales came in at an average price of $3.82 million and $1,975 per ft². The 105 co-op sales came in at an average price of $928,190. Similar to last week, five of the top ten sales came in buildings designed by Robert A.M Stern Architects. This week, a penthouse closing at 70 Vestry Street leads the pack. Not only is it the biggest closing in the building so far, but the most expensive private residential sale ever recorded downtown.
