The Billionaires' Row skyline has spent weeks dominating the headlines, not to mention Manhattan's top sales. But for the first week of June 2024, only one supertall on this stretch ranked among the top five sales, and Downtown neighborhoods largely dominated. Indeed, the highest-priced sale of the week and one of the highest prices of the year took place at a low-rise loft building in Nolita.

Residence #8C aka Penthouse IV at The Puck Penthouses closed for $32,500,000 in an off-market deal. The Real Deal notes that it has been on and off the market for years, asking $35 million each time, and that it is one of only six penthouse units in the converted printing house.

While just shy of the Nolita price record set by Josh Kushner and Karlie Kloss elsewhere in the building, this home nevertheless ranks among Nolita's most expensive apartment sales. It also ranks among the highest-priced apartment sales to close thus far in 2024.
The Puck Penthouses unit had the top sale by an extremely comfortable margin: The second-highest sale, a four-bedroom home at West Chelsea's Jardim, closed for $15,000,000, or less than half the price of the home at The Puck Penthouses. Another off-market transaction, this one closed more than two months after a penthouse in the High Line adjacent, Isay Weinfeld-design building entered contract. Musician Bad Bunny previously rented in the building, and public records identify this buyer as finance executive Viswas Raghavan.

The aforementioned Billionaires' Row sale took place at 111 West 57th Street, the world's thinnest skyscraper and one of New York's tallest buildings. The full-floor Tower Residence #26 ultimately closed for $11,750,000, a figure 17% below the last asking price but still good enough for the fourth-highest sale of the week.
Also of note last week, a total of $32,195,427 across four sales was recorded at The Keller, the residential conversion of The Knickerbocker Hotel, a New York City Landmark on the West Village waterfront. Among them was the four-bedroom Residence #5A, which closed for $10,205,969, slightly over ask and high enough for the fifth most expensive sale of the past week.
