As construction progresses on 99 Hudson, new renderings of New Jersey’s tallest residential building have become available (h/t 6sqft). The 900-foot, 79-story tower designed by Perkins Eastman with a sleek limestone façade will be an impressive part of the Jersey City skyline. On the ground floor, 15,000 square feet of retail space will have oversized windows between limestone piers with granite bases. It will also feature 14,00 square feet of public space, including three plazas.
The groundbreaking took place in January 2016, and sales of the 781 condos on top launched this fall. All units will feature oak flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking sweeping Statue of Liberty and New York skyline views. Gourmet kitchens will be outfitted with quartz stone countertops and state-of-the-art appliances. Bathrooms will have porcelain tiles and ceramic backsplashes. One-bedrooms start at $770K, and two-bedrooms at $1.45 million. Completion is anticipated for later this year, and opening is estimated for 2019.
A double-height lobby welcomes residents and hints at the luxury of the amenities available inside and out. The building will be topped by a roof garden, and an outdoor pool will be surrounded by cabanas and lounge seating. Additional outdoor amenities include fire pits, dining and grilling areas, and a playground. Inside, residents have their choice of a fitness center, yoga and Pilates studio, golf simulator, game room, and business center. Its close proximity to the Exchange Place Light Rail Station, Exchange Place PATH station, and Paulus Hook ferry stop gives residents a choice of public transportation options for an easy and quick trip to Manhattan.
