BLVD condos via MNS Real Estate
At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, many New Yorkers found themselves looking to further reaches of the outer boroughs in search of more space for lower prices - after all, with many working from home, they suddenly didn't need to be quite so near Manhattan office districts. However, in the wake of return-to-work requirements, some are coming to find that low-priced outer-borough buildings may be located further afield from their Midtown or Lower Manhattan offices than they might prefer.
BLVD, a new condominium at 107-02 Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills, is part of a new crop of outer borough development that has taken place in recent years. When the 74-unit building launched sales in June 2021, MNS CEO Andrew Barrocas said in a statement that there has been a lack of new construction in this part of Queens; since then, this is no longer the case. A number of remaining availabilities in the building recently had their prices reduced, with four price cuts taking shape in the past week. These were among the 201 listings that experienced price cuts over the past seven days; a full, sortable chart may be found below.
