Under the patronage of hotelier Sam Chang, the building will have 261 keys along 26 floors. Per The Real Deal, Sam Chang’s McSam Hotel Group closed on a 99-year lease of the property in 2016 for $27.1 million. Apparently, the developer was unable to acquire the neighboring corner lot which holds a one-floor T-Mobile store.
