70 Vestry Street has come a long way in one year. Last January, we reported that the Tribeca waterfront condominium was over 60% sold when it was just 8 stories high. And now, the Robert A.M. Stern-designed building is at its full 14-story height and has its elegant Beaumaniere limestone facade. A mix of five three- to four-bedroom residences remain and occupancy is still slated for spring of this year. Interiors are by the renowned AD100 designer Daniel Romualdez.

With both of the uber-pricey penthouses sold off – one sold for $50M and the other $65M – the most expensive listing left is unit 9S, a 4,355-square-foot home currently asking $22.5M. The home boasts four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, high ceilings, a dedicated service entry, exposures over the Hudson River, and two river-facing private terraces amounting to 522 square feet.

The windowed eat-in kitchen features custom oak paneling, Bardiglio Luco marble counters with Calacatta Milano marble accents, Miele appliances, SubZero wine storage, and an adjacent family room. Just across the street at 67 Vestry, Aby Rosen of RFR Realty planned to develop an 11-story condo building, but even after receiving the partial approval from the Department of Buildings in 2014, he ended up selling the site to Elliott Aronson’s Iliad Realty Group for $55.5M this past December, according to TRD. If Rosen's old plans come to life, the area will receive 43 new condo residences.
