Over two years after plans were filed to build a four-story condominium at 16 Underhill Avenue, sales have launched on the full-floor apartments within. Infinity Properties was at the helm of the project, which rose on an empty Prospect Heights lot. While renderings show that the new building's height is at least congruent with the buildings around it, its slick facade designed by Caliendo Architects is quite a contrast from the red brick buildings on either side.
Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap around the building and fill all four apartments with natural light. The apartments also feature gracious layouts, refined finishes, recessed lighting, split system heating and cooling, washer/dryer hookups, and white oak hardwood floors. Modern chef’s kitchens are appointed with custom white lacquered cabinetry and state-of-the-art appliances. Spa-like baths are outfitted with radiant heated floors and deep soaking tubs.
Residence #2, a two-bedroom two-bath, is listed for $1.395 million. Residence #4, another two-bedroom two-bath, has a full terrace off the living room, a balcony off the master bedroom, a private roof terrace, and a listing price of $1.375 million. At an average of $1,249 per square foot, 16 Underhill Avenue is only slightly below the Prospect Heights median of $1,277 per square foot for similarly sized condos (per CityRealty listings).
16 Underhill Avenue is across the street from Lowry Triangle and a short walk from local favorites like Sisters, Milk River, Ample Hills Creamery, Weather Up, and Soda Bar. Barclays Center, Atlantic Terminal Mall, and the many transportation options of Atlantic Avenue are a few blocks up the road.
