When Fifth Avenue made the transition from mansions to apartments, architects played up the expansive rooms and close proximity to Central Park to appeal to area families. Nearly a century later, The Fifth Avenue can say the same: The Harlem complex's sibling buildings at 1325 Fifth Avenue and 1330 Fifth Avenue are just north of Central Park and Duke Ellington Circle, and surrounded by area schools. It is also located between two subway stations, allowing for easy access all over the city. The apartments within were recently renovated into spacious condominiums, and sales have just launched.

The Fifth Avenue’s address and building offerings are certainly attractive, and the prices serve to seal the deal: One-bedrooms start at $750K, and two-bedrooms start at $1.045 million, or an average of $1,142 per square foot. CityRealty data reports that these prices are on the higher end for Harlem, but real bargains for Manhattan, where the borough-wide median is $1.216 million for one-bedrooms and $2.45 million for two-bedrooms.
