The building occupying 640-660 Twelfth Avenue between 48th Street and 49th Street is undergoing a major transformation - and this new rendering shows what's to come.
Previously a two-story, 45-foot-tall structure, the building is gaining five additional floors resulting in the new seven-story, 147-foot edifice we see in the rendering. According to permits, SLCE is the architecture firm attached to the project. The commercial building will be home to a new car dealership as well as offices. It was previously used as a shipping facility and a hotel was once planned for the site. TF Cornerstone owns the property and also owns others in the area too, including the site of a new rental at 606 West 57th Street, where leasing has just launched.
