The proposed 8-story, 32-unit building at 109 East 115th Street is finally nearing completion after topping out more than a year ago. And it looks like the rendering, a modern design via HTO Architects, resembles what has actually come to life. Permits for the mixed-use rental East Harlem structure were filed back in 2014 after ACNY Developers Inc. bought the long-empty lots for $1M.
Inside, the building will hold a 5,392-square-foot community facility, labeled as a philanthropic non-profit, as well as 22,380 square feet of residential space. The average apartment size will be just 699 square feet. As for amenities, the floor schedule calls for a number of them on the cellar level, including a laundry room, tenant and bike storage, and a fitness room. There will also be an outdoor terrace on the second floor. Floors 2-6 will have 6 apartments each and there will be two duplexes on the top floors.
