Just last January, we covered the vertical rise of Amiran Group's The Twenty1 slated for Chelsea. Last Tuesday, mere months later, the 12-story condominium celebrated its topping-off. The special ceremony, marking the milestone, was held nearby at 57 West 21st Street —allowing guests to glimpse at the opulently-designed spaces inside.

Positioned at 117 West 21st Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues in Chelsea's Ladies' Mile district, the Twenty1 is a complete renovation and addition of an existing four-story commercial structure. The project, designed by local firm GRADE, holds six extravagant, full-floor units, two duplex penthouses, and a single townhouse unit. Now that the structure has reached its full 12-story height, the spacious family-sized homes will be fitted out.
Four of the building's nine spectacular homes are now on sale. All four are in four-bedroom layouts and range between $6 million and $10.995 million, averaging $2,172 per square foot.
The homes boast large, open floor plans —accented with bronze, wood, and limestone materials to complement the opulent palette. The exterior reinforces the aesthetic with a composition of paired floor-to-ceiling glass panels, deeply inset bronze-colored framing, and light-colored metal and stone. A vertical rung of wooden slats will adorn one side of the building, and the penthouses will progressively set back, yielding spacious terraces.
All nine residences feature direct key-in elevator access, floor-to-ceiling windows, Chevron-pattered white oak wood flooring, custom stained oak millwork, and “impeccably-equipped” chef’s kitchens. The window-walled great rooms are capacious and can accommodate both living and dining areas.
The building affords the 'standard' luxury amenities available at most high-end condos. These include a 24-hour doorman, a common rooftop terrace, a private residential storage space, and a modest five-car parking lot located underground.
