Torkian Group has topped off construction on a 41-story glass tower at 38 West 33rd Street in Midtown Manhattan. The property previously held a 325-car parking garage which Torkian paid $30 million for in 2007, per the Commercial Observer. Rising in the shadow of the Empire State Building, the prism-like building crests at more than 400-feet tall and will grant many of its 223 rental apartments enviable views downtown. TOWN Marketing & Leasing will be marketing the property and anticipates leasing to begin 3Q 2017. Stephen B Jacobs Group is the architect and sister firm, Andi Pepper Interior Design is handling the interiors. Amenities will include a fitness center, spa, sauna and outdoor terraces.
