About a week after a possible infinity pool in London went viral, the one in Brooklyn Point reached an important milestone. A recently released video shows the 27-foot pool being hoisted to the top of Brooklyn Point, the borough’s current tallest residential tower. Its location 680 feet above grade makes it the Western Hemisphere highest infinity pool in a residential building.

Unlike its counterpart across the pond, residents will be able to jump right into the heated pool and enjoy panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline from spring to fall. And while this pool is a powerful draw, it is by no means the only one on the resort-like rooftop terrace designed by Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects. Additional offerings include changing rooms and showers, a sun deck, an outdoor dining area, an outdoor movie screening area, and a stargazing observatory.
Brooklyn Point recently topped out at 720 feet high, and the striking facade by Kohn Pedersen Fox is well on the way up too. In addition to over 40,000 square feet of amenities designed by Katherine Newman Design, residents will have the dining, shopping, and entertainment offerings of City Point just an elevator ride away. Current availabilities range from $872K for a studio to $3.53 million for a corner three-bedroom. Move-ins are estimated to begin in early 2020.
