On Sunday, February 4, 2024, the 66th Annual Grammy Awards will recognize outstanding recordings, compositions, and artists from October 2022 to September 2023, as selected by The Recording Academy members. The event will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with Trevor Noah hosting for the fourth time.
This year, women will take center stage as they dominate all the top categories. Only one male artist, Jon Batiste, is nominated for Record, Album, or Song of the year. Taylor Swift, this decade's cultural powerhouse with her chart-topping album "Midnights" and a record-breaking tour projected to gross over $2 billion, leads with six nominations. Having already won 12 Grammys and earned 52 nominations, Swift could become the first artist to win Album of the Year four times, currently tied with Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon at three victories.

Celebrity Renter: Ariana Grande
In the understatement of the century, 2018 was a particularly exciting year for pop star Ariana Grande. That extends to New York, where she moved into a five-bedroom apartment in Zaha Hadid's High Line-adjacent building. It was never confirmed whether she'd bought the apartment or was renting, but we do know that it measures 4,000 square feet and has a private terrace.

Celebrity Resident until 2019: Jennifer LopezLess than a year after paying $15.315 million for an apartment in the tallest residential building in the Western hemisphere, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have put it on the market for $17.5 million. The three-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home spans 4,000 square feet, but that's still too small for when their children from previous marriages are all together. The talented singer-actress is also selling her NoMad duplex penthouse at The Whitman Mansion; it is back on the market for $24.99 million.

Celebrity Resident until 2022: MadonnaMadonna bought a $7.3M residence at this co-op building back in 2008, and got off to a warm start, calling the seventh-floor unit a “place I call home. It is there that I have my cherished personal effects and property such as artwork, paintings, sculpture, special furniture and the like.” But after years of drama with the co-op board - including filing a lawsuit against them that was eventually thrown out by a Manhattan judge - she moved out in 2022. That story might have been overshadowed, though, by the illegal "No Parking" signs she posted outside her Upper East Side mansion.

Former Celebrity Resident: Taylor SwiftWhile Taylor Swift's Lower Manhattan apartment was being renovated, she rented a five-story carriage house turned luxury mansion in the heart of Greenwich Village with an indoor pool, drive-in garage, and roof terrace. She was only there for a few months, but that was enough time to immortalize it in a hit song. It was listed in summer 2023, but is off the market now.
