The Manhattan luxury market continues its steady trend with 22 contracts signed last week (mostly Downtown) at $4 million and above. The priciest contract came from Jeweler David Yurman’s $16.5 million townhouse, reduced from $18.45 million, at 66 Morton Street. The second contract went to unit 11A at 910 Fifth Avenue, which was discounted from $17.5 million to it's final $14.9 million asking price.
The priciest closing recorded last week was a full-floor Walker Tower penthouse that had been on and off the market since 2016. It finally sold for $31 million but at one point, the owner (operating under an LLC) was asking as much as $42 million. The penthouse is actually a combination of two units and is generously-sized at nearly 7,000 square feet. See below for more top contracts and sales recorded last week.
