35 Hudson Yards is the tallest residential building in the new Hudson Yards neighborhoods, and its standards are as lofty as its 1,010-foot elevation. The world’s first Equinox Hotel is set to open later this summer. The residential component starts on the 53rd floor to make the most of some of the city's most stunning views. Most recently, 22,000 square feet of residential amenities designed by AD100 architect Tony Ingrao have been unveiled.
As with the apartments, the residential amenities were designed to frame views of the Hudson River, Manhattan skyline, and Hudson Yards Public Square and Gardens. The 7 train’s extension to Hudson Yards is a godsend to residents, but a board room and two private office suites are perfect for those who would prefer to work from home. Leisure and entertainment amenities include a meditation lounge, a golf simulator room, a lounge and bar overlooking the Hudson River, a billiards table, a 24th-floor dining room with adjacent library, a screening room, and a children’s playroom.

While 35 Hudson Yards also offers an exclusive, state-of-the-art fitness center, residents receive a complimentary two-year membership to the 60,000-square-foot Equinox Club and Spa in the building. This is the luxury chain’s largest club to date and features indoor and outdoor pools, a SoulCycle studio, a wellness spa, and a sun deck overlooking the Public Square and Gardens.

Moreover, a custom smartphone application will put residents in touch with a dedicated Director of Residences to arrange any number of activities, services, and conveniences. Given the location, these could include anything from a SoulCycle class an elevator ride away to an appointment with a personal stylist at New York’s flagship Neiman Marcus to a visit to Mount Sinai’s health center for Hudson Yards residents.

The Director of Residences will also liaise with the Equinox Hotel to arrange room bookings, in-home dining, valet and laundry services, and private car and ground transportation. Restaurateur Stephen Starr’s new venture, Electric Lemon, is on the 24th floor of the hotel, offering a seasonal American menu and an outdoor terrace overlooking panoramic views.

In addition to the amenities, Mr. Ingrao designed the interiors of all apartments and styled a new model residence on the 55th floor. The high ceilings and gracious gallery in the two-bedroom, 1,892-square-foot home are ideal for showcasing dramatic works of art. However, the true centerpiece is the grand-scale living room with an oversized sofa and enormous windows.
As of this writing, neighboring building Fifteen Hudson Yards is already over 60 percent sold with contracts totaling nearly $1 billion. Current availabilities at 35 Hudson Yards range from $5.125 million for a two-bedroom to $27.75 million for a five-bedroom spanning the entire southern façade of the building. Penthouses have yet to be priced.
