As one of the principals of Parkview Developers, Reisner was responsible for redeveloping the building in 2004. He also owns several other units in addition to the penthouse. According to reports, he sold an entire floor unit on the 12th floor in 2016 for $12.6 million and a triplex in 2017.
Designed by Jacob M. Felsen in 1937, 230 Central Park South is a 17-story apartment building with 95 apartments, a one-story limestone base and a two-story limestone entrance surround, an entrance marquee and sidewalk landscaping. In 2009, 230 Central Park South sold its air rights to fund a new Art Deco façade, elevators and a gym.
