The top contract was for Penthouse #23 at 50 Central Park South, a full-floor home with direct Central Park frontage, a private setback terrace, and a $34,000,000 asking price, down slightly from its $37 million ask when it was listed in June 2022 (h/t Olshan Realty). One of only 12 condo units as part of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, the buyer will enjoy access to the hotel's amenities and services. The buyer and seller were not identified, but the building has counted film producer Sidney Kimmel and casino magnate Steve Wynn among its notable residents.
The penthouse at 50 Central Park South was trailed by a three-bedroom unit around the block at Central Park Tower, where #63E entered contract with a $19,500,000 asking price. Further uptown, a full-floor penthouse at the top of 30 East 85th Street with five beds, five and a half baths, and Central Park views entered contract with a $15,500,000 asking price.
