When 432 Park Avenue was completed, it was the tallest building in the world. It has since been surpassed in height, but still stands out in the Manhattan skyline and regularly ranks among the city's top sales. Such was the case for the first full week of March 2024, when it recorded a total of $34,068,000 in sales. The half-floor Residence #67B led the charge at $24,990,000, or $2.51 million less than when it entered contract in January 2024. The seller was identified only through an LLC, but public records can confirm that they took a loss on in, having bought it for $26,619,462 from the sponsor in March 2016.
Several stories down, Residence #50A had the third-highest sale at $7,568,000. Like its counterpart upstairs, it, too, came in at a reduced price, having entered contract with an $8,250,000 ask in January 2024.

The top sale outside 432 Park Avenue and second-highest overall was Residence #29A at 200 Amsterdam Avenue, which closed for $13,150,000. The sale of the four-bedroom, four and a half-bath home comes less than a month after another unit in the building logged the top Upper West Side contract of 2024.
The top Downtown sale and fourth-highest of the week took place at The Fairchild, a Tribeca condominium that rose on the former site of a warehouse, where Residence #6C closed for $6,850,000. Public records identify the seller as award-winning jewelry designer Jen Insardi, and the New York Post notes that she applied her eye for design to the apartment as well, embarking on a gut renovation shortly after buying it for $5.4 million in 2014. It has been on and off the market since 2018, when it was listed for $9.75 million.
Rounding out the top five was Residence #3N at The Brentmore, which had the top co-op sale at $6,318,250 in what appears to have been an off-market transaction. The closing comes a few weeks after Annie Leibovitz's home in the building closed for well above ask and fellow photographer Elliot Erwitt's home in the building had one of the top contracts.
