432 Park Avenue is known as the world's tallest residential building, and it just added another superlative: New York's best-selling building ever. Recorded sales total more than $2 billion to surpass the total dollar amount of initial closings in any single New York residential project. 48 of these residences were in excess of $20 million each.
But can money buy good taste? To answer that question, we looked at 432 Park Avenue’s 23 publicly-listed apartments to see how buyers decorated their high-ceilinged aeries that stand up to 1,400 feet above Manhattan. Granted, many of the listed units have never been lived in and the listing photos are purposely left clean so not to offend. A handful of these perches show some creativity and personal touches, but the overarching theme seems to be let the enormous windows and the views outside them be the star of the show.

The stark whiteness of this rarely available corner unit offers an excellent canvas for bold colors and rich accent pieces. Expansive windows facing north and east let in views of blue skies, metallic buildings, sparkling city lights, and all the colors of a New York City sunrise.
432 Park Avenue, #PH94A
This penthouse is near the top of the world's tallest residential building; as such, the furniture is kept low so as not to interfere with the unparalleled city and Central Park views. However, a few bold color choices and creative accents set it apart.
