Just one stop outside of Manhattan, the Astoria Boulevard subway station allows for a 30-minute commute to Midtown and serves as an unofficial hub for recent residential development. An amenity-rich condominium known as BLVD sold out only six months after the sales launch. On the rental side, work is underway on a new building at 29-15 Newtown Avenue, and leasing just launched at Katina with availabilities starting at $2,200/month. Most recently, sales just launched at the six-story Cornerstone Condominiums.
All 27 studio through two-bedroom homes at Cornerstone Condominiums feature open floor plans, minimalist elements, expansive windows that fill the space with natural light, and private terraces. The spacious living rooms blend seamlessly into gourmet kitchens. All apartments come with private storage units, and building amenities include a gym, bike room, and outdoor entertainment space.
An offering plan accepted earlier this spring listed a $26.25 million sellout. To that end, studios start at $473K, one-bedrooms start at $680K, and two-bedrooms start at $942K. Expansive, sophisticated penthouses start at $1.409 million. According to CityRealty listings, this is a true bargain compared to the Queens median price of $582K for studios, $883K for one-bedrooms, and $1.37 million for two-bedrooms.
