Sales have launched at the Poppy Lofts in the East Village, a boutique condo development offering two and three bedroom homes priced from $1,950,000. Last Thursday, the Ryan Serhant-led sales team of NestSeekers International, hosted an exclusive launch party offering walk-through tours of the units and never-before-looks at the interiors and private outdoor areas.
Situated at 26 Avenue B between East 2nd and 3rd streets, the 6-story condominium houses five luxurious, full-floor residences —each unit boasting its own private outdoor area. The project's architect is Shiming Tam, and the developers are a collaboration between the father-and-son duo, Vinbaytel, and New York City-based firm, Versatile Engineering. When we first covered the development, back in October, we showed photos of the building's Glen-Gery dark-gray brickwork and its inset balconies adorned with flower planters.

With the new sales release, we get our first look inside the model units. As we previously noted, units will feature coffered ceilings, pristine, ivory floor-to-ceiling windows and radiant-heated floors in all en-suite bathrooms. White marble-kitchens include a Bosch electric cooktop and wall oven, a Blomberg stainless steel refrigerator, and a Sharp microwave. All units also boast Bosch washer/ dryers, LED lighting, hardwood floors. The French doors, leading to a private balcony/ terrace, are multi-paneled to match the windows —revealing just the right amount of natural sun to bounce off the lightness of the walls.
Crowning the top two floors is the 1,309 sq. ft. penthouse unit that will get an unheard-of feature: 4 separate outdoor spaces. The 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom floor-through home has an asking price of $2.215 million. Resident amenities boast a virtual doorman, bike racks, storage and access to a private/ keyed elevator.

The sales launch will likely follow in the footsteps of Ryan Serhant's previous East Village launches; these include Seven East Village, The Calyx, and 100 Avenue A. Due to increasing interest in the units, the asking prices, quoted back in fall, had a slight increase from $1.75 million to $1.95 million.
