In a recent press release, Extell Development cited a $73 million sales milestone at One57 in the first quarter of 2018. Comprised of five closings spanning a total of 16,000 square feet in the luxury condominium tower, the milestone is a testament to the continued interest in the building, now four years post-completion date.
Among the closed residences was an impeccably-designed model residence by Jeffrey Beers International. The three-bedroom home offers sweeping views of Central Park, and recently hosted The New York Times for an overnight stay to experience the tower’s unprecedented amenities.

Claiming the establishment of Billionaire’s Row, the building rises over 1,000 feet tall and stand one block south of Central Park at 157 West 57th Street. At the time of its completion in 2014, One57 soared as the tallest residential tower in the Western Hemisphere, but was quickly topped by 432 Park Avenue, and soon by 111 West 57th Street and Extell’s own Central Park Tower.
Facing such increase in competition on the horizon, One57 currently has twelve apartments for sale ranging from a $3.395 million one-bedroom to a $32.95 million five-bedroom.
Dubbed a “sky sanctuary,” this latter five-bedroom condo boasts breathtaking panoramas of Central Park, spans 5,475 square feet, and features soaring ceilings over 10 feet tall. Offering a double-sized chef’s kitchen, full smart home automation, and floor-to-ceiling walls of glass, 53B is available fully furnished if desired.
On the smaller end of the luxury spectrum, one-bedroom 40D features stunning Central Park views, soaring 12-foot ceilings, an open kitchen, and a spa-like master bath.
Rivaling the interiors designed by the acclaimed Thomas Juul-Hansen is the exterior architecture designed by Christian de Portzamparc. Clad in glass, One57 is distinguished by its rippled canopies, numerous setbacks, and curved tops.
Though joined by increasing residential competition, the building remains the only supertall tower on Billionaire’s Row that is anchored and serviced by a five-star hotel. Residents enjoy full access to luxury white-glove services at the Forbes Five Star-ranked Park Hyatt New York, which was recently named the top hotel in the city by U.S. News and World Report.
Further amenities include a private fitness center with a yoga studio, a windowed triple-height indoor swimming pool and custom Jacuzzi, a private dining room, a catering kitchen, a library with a billiards table, a screening and performance space. Residents also enjoy access to a 24-hour doorman and concierge, as well as on-site parking.
There are also three current rental availabilities, a one-bedroom for $11,750/month, a three-bedroom for $35,000/month, and a four-bedroom for $65,000/month.
Situated inside one of the city’s most prized areas for real estate, residents are seconds from the famed Plaza District and the historic Carnegie Hall, as well as the myriad of seasonal offerings housed inside Central Park.
