CityRealty typically waits until the beginning of the month to report on celebrity real estate transactions in New York, but this week's 459 price cuts contained listings with famous connections. The New York Post reported that Jennifer Lawrence is looking at New York apartments, a West Village duplex reduced by almost 25% among them. Further downtown, a Financial District penthouse owned by Russell Simmons experienced another price cut that brings it to a cumulative reduction by $3 million, or 30.8%.
While the following listings do not have any celebrity connections, their price cuts are quite dramatic all the same. Please note that all figures reflect cumulative reductions rather than the most recent chops.
