Last week, we covered the lowest priced new development listings in Manhattan, south of 96th Street. Now it’s uptown’s turn. While its condo inventory may be low in comparison, its neighborhoods —Morningside Heights, Hamilton Heights, Harlem, East Harlem, Washington Heights, and Inwood— still boast the best prices in Manhattan by far.
Per our listings, uptown has a total of 144 units for sale, at a median price of $1,090/ft² —nearly half that of its southern Manhattan neighborhoods that record a median of $2,002/ft². The median price of a studio uptown is $499K, one-bedrooms are $704.5K, and two-bedrooms are $1.15M. So, for those who don’t mind tacking on a few extra minutes to your Midtown/downtown commute, these homes may be your best bet in Manhattan.
