200 Amsterdam is one of the tallest buildings in its neighborhood, and ranks among the city's best-selling buildings. Last week, it added another superlative with the sale of #44A, a four-bedroom full-floor unit that sold for $21,000,000. Not only is this the building's highest gross sale to date, but it was also Manhattan's highest-priced sale by far from February 11-17, 2023.
The past week's second-priciest sale was also an Upper West Side condo: At 378 West End Avenue, Residence #7B, a three-bedroom unit, closed for $8,650,000. Between its gracious proportions, pandemic-proof features, well-curated amenities, and prime Upper West Side address, it has put impressive sales numbers as well and is now over 80% sold (h/t Marketproof).
The top downtown sale and third-highest overall took place at The Tower at Gramercy Square, part of the luxury residential conversion of the Cabrini Medical Center complex to the south of Kips Bay. Residence #16A, a high-floor home, sold for $7,670,000. The unidentified buyer will enjoy spectacular views and access to indoor and outdoor amenities, including a meditation studio co-designed by MNDFL.
