In June 2023, meal kit delivery trailblazer Blue Apron sold the assets and business related to its operational infrastructure to FreshRealm in a deal that eliminated its debt and allows it to concentrate on building its brand and expanding its product offerings. NoMad is famous for its bustling restaurant scene now, but Hill Country Barbecue Market was an early trailblazer when it opened in a former garment building in 2007. Appropriately enough, former head of the United Nations Security Council and Venezuelan ambassador Diego Arria bought a duplex apartment in a section of the Upper East Side near several consulates in 2013, two years after he filed charges against Hugo Chavez for crimes against humanity. When Hohm Collective founder Joanna Lemle listed her Greenwich Village apartment in June 2023, the listing touted her firm's design of the apartment, which combined existing finishes with new paint and lighting.
