The priciest co-op sale was in Parc V at 785 Fifth Avenue, a co-op built in 1963. David Geffen sold unit 17AB in the building for $24.5 million. The music industry bigwig purchased the 5,000ft2 unit for $14.17 million in 2010.

The second priciest co-op sale last month was in the prewar co-op at 834 Fifth Avenue, where a two-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom unit, 7B, sold for $18.75 million to John Welch, the former chairman of GE.
The third priciest co-op sale, and the only one not on the Upper East Side, was in the six-unit West Village building at 165 Perry Street. Unit 6 in the building, which has five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, went for $18 million. More details can be found here.
