Last year, Rockrose Development filed permits to construct an 18-floor, 123-unit building at 43-12 Hunter Street in Long Island City, just across from their newly-opened Hayden tower. Now, foundation work has begun and according to a new webpage by the building's architects, SLCE, the project is simply known as Triangle, likely due to its wedge-shaped site.
In January, Tthe Court Square Blog spotted the first rendering on-site. Now, a duo of high-quality renderings appear on SLCE's page showing the overall exterior and another of the building's entryway. It is also noted that Slade Architecture will be handling the interior design of the 90,500 square foot development.

The initial building application was filed in 2017 and show there will be 4,000-square-feet of commercial space on the cellar and first floors, and the residences on floors 2 through 18. Also revealed on permits are some of the amenities; which are set to include tenant storage, a bike room, a fitness center and a lounge.
Across the street from the site, Rockrose launched the 51-story Hayden. That building was also designed by SLCE and availabilities start from $2,571/month for a studio, $3,138/mo. for a one-bedroom and $4,532/mo. for a two-bedroom.
