Construction work is in the home stretch for the new apartments at 550 Kingston Avenue in East Flatbush. Developed by Joyland Management, the 43-unit rental building is a distinctive residential project in the heart of central Brooklyn. Rising 6-stories, the multi-purpose building will have an underground parking garage for up to 22 cars, a large commercial space on the first floor, and apartments above.
A contemporary design penned by Peter Gee of Gee 2000 Architect PC, provides residents with large windows, balconies, an indoor recreation space on the sixth floor, and an open rooftop terrace. Once finished, 550 Kingston will introduce a vibrant, energetic structure to its quiet neighborhood block. The building is set to finish later this year.
