Anbau is now gearing up to launch sales for its new full-service condominium building at 207 West 79th Street. Dubbed 207W79, the Upper West Side building features ground floor retail and 19 townhouse-style residences ranging from two- to six-bedroom layouts that are set to be priced from $3.95 to $15 million.

Residences feature expansive living and dining rooms, mansion weave parquet patterned floors, and large casement windows that offer sweeping views of the Hudson River and Midtown skyline. Epicurean kitchens host Calacatta marble islands, gray oak cabinetry, and fixtures by Lefroy Brooks. Baths include Empire-style soaking tubs, marble topped elm vanities, and rattan marble and porcelain mosaic floors.
Amenities begin with the building’s gorgeous, 24-hour attended lobby, finished with Carrara foliage marble mosaic floor. The building also features a fitness studio, a versatile playroom with bleacher seating and integrated cushioned benches, a bicycle room, and private storage available for purchase. Situated in between Central Park and Riverside Park, residents will have access to a bustling neighborhood, dotted with many restaurants, grocery stores, and cultural destinations.
Construction began at the site in July, and when we last checked in earlier this fall, the building was steadily rising. Standing as Morris Adjmi Architect’s first ground-up project, 207W79 features a gorgeous, pre-war façade complete with terracotta panels, floral detail, and a traditional limestone masonry base. The condos will join 153 other units for sale along the Broadway Corridor that have a median price of $2.3 million, or $1,795 per square foot. The average closing price for a condo in the neighborhood this November was $1,640 per square foot, up from last November’s average closing price of $1,502 per square foot.
