Rose Associates’ 210 Livingston Street, between Hoyt Street and Elm Place, is among a number of new residences rising along the Livingston-Schermerhorn corridor in Downtown Brooklyn Construction has already risen above street level on the soon-to-be 28-story rental tower which will cover more than 300,000 square feet of floor area. The project is being built on an empty lot where the NYC Human Resources Administration once stood. The new building will include 20,000 square-feet of commercial retail space and a 112-car parking garage. 210 Livingston Street will offer 368 residential rental units, 20% of which will be rented at below-market-rate prices. Handel Architects is designer of the project; Benenson Capital Partners and Rose Associates are co-developing the project.
