Chelsea29 is a thoughtfully-designed rental tower taking shape at the crossroads of Chelsea and Midtown West. The building has just debuted its registration site, ensuring apartment-seekers can stay informed in preparation for the leasing launch later this summer. CBSK Ironstate is the developer of the 21-story, 90,000-square-foot building.
We recently swung by the site, to check out the progress of the Hill West-designed building. The façade of vertical limestone piers and metal fins is just about finished. According to architects, the building is meant to be a "modern reinterpretation of the district’s historic spirit" rather than an imitation of the past.
The residences will range from studios to 2-bedrooms. Amenities are to include a gym, lounge space, and a rooftop terrace. There will also be on-site parking, bike storage, tenant storage and a laundry room.
