A new upper Manhattan rental is set to officially kick-off leasing later this month. Addressed at 517 West 134th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam avenues, the 8-story building will have 23 one- and two-bedroom no fee apartments. Citi-Habitats is handling and leasing and says prices will begin around $2,500/month.
According to paperwork filed with the city, the ground-up project was developed by David Pedram’s KP Developers and designed by Floral Park-based Sion Associates. Amenities will include a limited amount of garage parking and bicycle parking. The 1 train’s 135th Street subway station is a short walk from the building and both Columbia University and City College are nearby.
New developments in the West Harlem / Manhattanville area have been warming up since the first buildings of Columbia University’s Manhattanville campus have come online. Last week we told you about a pair of condos rising nearby at 17 & 52 Convent Avenue and a two-building rental planed at 487 West 129th Street.
