Carter’s Review

"This large, white-brick apartment building in the Sutton Place district is convenient to the east Midtown office district and one block away from cross-town bus service on 57th Street. Some of the city's most impressive townhouses and exclusive apartment buildings are in this area. The 35-story structure, which has some terraces and extensive and very attractive sidewalk landscaping, was erected in 1960 and converted to a cooperative in 1988. It has 173 apartments with a doorman and a concierge and a garage. Although there is considerable traffic along First Avenue, this neighborhood has many popular restaurants and convenience shopping and is not far from several movie theaters. During the winter there is a tented tennis club nearby beneath the Queensborough Bridge at York Avenue."
