Carter's Review

The Veneto is an attractive, 34-story residential condominium tower at 250 East 53rd Street at Second Avenue with a very distinctive entrance with a heavily and randomly rusticated one-story base highlighted by embedded horizontal lights.

Designed by Davis Brody Bond, it was developed by The Related Companies with an 8-story base clad in limestone and red brick on the avenue and limestone on the side-street.

Adam Tihany, who designed Le Cirque and Per Se restaurants, did the interior design.

The building, which was completed in 2007, has 137 apartments.
