Carter’s Review

"This attractive, red-brick, 7-story, mid-block apartment building at 416 West 52nd Street between 9th and 10th avenues has 156 condominium units and was erected in 1940 as a facility of St. Vincent’s Hospital.

According to an August 18, 2015 article by Konrad Putzier at therealdeal.com Joseph Chetrit of The Chetrit Group bought this building and another at 432 West 53nd Street in 2007 in partnership with Tessler Developments for $88.7 million.  In 2014, Chetrit sold 432 West 52nd Street to a partnership between JVL Property Group, Okada Acquisitions and Zion Enterprises, which then converted the building to condominiums.  In 2015, Chetrit, who had converted this building to rental apartments, sold it to Gaia Real Estate for $156.5 million."
