The building was converted into the Henry Hudson Hotel in 1941, later becoming the Hudson New York Hotel after a renovation by the Morgan Hotel Group in 1997. The new development will feature units with 8' to 10' high ceilings, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and in-unit washer/dryers, along with 30,000 square feet of retail space and 25,000 square feet of office space.
