Carter’s Review

"This 36-story, brown-brick rental apartment building was erected in 1975 by the Kibel Company. It has 352 apartments, many with good views.

With its large windows and concrete floor plates, this tower, which is indented a bit on its long sides, is simple but quite strong. The neighborhood of the East 30s is rather amorphous with not too many distinguished landmarks. This area, however, is graced by proximity to I. M. Pei's very handsome Kips Bay Towers complex to the south and the new towers that sprouted in the late 1980's around the Manhattan Entrance to the Queens-Midtown Tunnel a couple of blocks to the north."
