Carter's Review

This attractive, red-brick building at 35 East 35th Street in Murray Hill was erected in 1955 and has 122 rental apartments. 

The mid-block building is between Madison and Park avenues and it not far from the Morgan Library. 

It was designed by Hyman J. Feldman, whose other buildings in the city include the Park Lane Tower at 185 East 85th Street, the John Adams at 101 West 12th Street and the Parker Towne House at 3 Sheridan Square. 

It has good public transportation.

Bottom Line

A handsome, red-brick, mid-block building in a good Murray Hill location with some curved window walls and some balconies.

Penthouse D is a one-bedroom unit with an 11-foot-long entry foyer next to a 7-foot-long enclosed kitchen that leads to a 20-foot-long living room with a 10-foot-wide dining alcove and a large terrace. 

Apartment 11F is a one-bedroom unit with an 11-foot-wide entry foyer next to an enclosed, 8-foot-long kitchen and a 22-foot-long living room with a curved bay window and a 13-foot-wide dining alcove.
